Presentations now available from BtG-SLoCaT SB42 Official Side Event in Bonn

The BtG-SLoCaT(Partnership on Sustainable, Low Carbon Transport) side event "Transport tackles Climate Change" took place on 4 June 2015 in Bonn at the SB42 meeting. The event was well attended with about 50 participants.

Presentations were on the subject of five different initiatives that aim to strengthen the role of the transport sector in climate change policy and ensure effective implementation of sustainable low carbon transport in a forthcoming climate agreement at COP21.
  • Karl Peet (Partnership on Sustainable, Low Carbon Transport, SLoCaT) introduced the Paris Process on Mobility and Climate (PPMC)
  • Yunus Arikan (ICLEI) shared the concept of “EcoMobility”
  • Oliver Lah (Wuppertal Institut) presented on two initiatives. The German Partnership for Sustainable Mobility (GPSM) and the Solutions network
  • Frank Krämer (GIZ) shared some experiences from the TRANSfer Project.
